The LIFEPAK 500T AED Training System provides realistic training in the use of the LIFEPAK 500 automated external defibrillator (AED) without the actual charge and discharge of electrical energy. The 500T accurately mimics the appearance of the LIFEPAK 500 AED and realistically simulates actual LIFEPAK 500 AED operations. The 500T reproduces the screen messages, audible tones and voice prompts of the LIFEPAK 500 AED while guiding users through simulated analysis, energy delivery and prompted CPR interval (when selected). All 500T functions are programmable to simulate the full range of scenarios possible during “real life” use of the LIFEPAK 500 AED. The 500T is the most versatile trainer available. Run pre-configured routines or create a dynamic training event. A wireless remote control allows you to pause 500T operation or to interrupt the pre-configured routines with six different prompts—NO SHOCK ADVISED, CHECK ELECTRODES, MOTION, SERVICE WARNING/ REQUIRED, LOW/REPLACE BATTERY and CPSS. The flexibility of the 500T allows you to follow all eight American Heart Association Heart Saver AED training scenarios or all four American Red Cross training scenarios. The 500T is your cost-effective training solution. It is powered by four standard D-cell batteries which result in more cost-effective operation than the high capacity batteries used in the LIFEPAK 500 AED. The batteries are housed in a battery pak that mimics the size, shape and installation technique of the LIFEPAK 500 AED battery. The training electrodes are affordable and reusable.
